THAI YOGA MASSAGE
If you're looking for an antidote to the stresses of daily life, then the ancient healing art of traditional Thai Yoga Massage (TYM) could be your answer.
Unlike other sport or deep tissue massage techniques, TYM is a practice of deep connection between two people with the overall aim to free and move blocked energy. TYM offers the intensity you love, coupled with deep relaxation.
As powerful as it is subtle, TYM also draws on an energy line system (The Ten Sen) through which the body's natural life force flows, as it is the blockages in this life force that lead to aches, pain and disease.
Using hands, feet and elbows, Thai Yoga Massage helps to stimulate the para-sympathetic nervous system; our bodies' natural relaxation response. Gentle stretching, twisting and moving through yoga asana, help relieve stress with its grounding, rhythmic qualities. It can encourage the release of holding patterns and blockages, freeing the body's healing potential, quieting the mind, and ultimately restoring balance and harmony.
Thai Yoga Massage promotes general health and well-being and is perfect for athletes, desk-bound workers, and any individual who could benefit from stretching and movement and feeling freer in both body and mind.
