Private yoga classes allow you to work on poses and stretches that make sense for you on your schedule and at your own pace.

They allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your goals and needs.

YOUNG PEOPLE & Yoga

Since I have over 15 years experience of working with young people, I'm also really keen to deliver yoga and mindfulness to teenagers.  Yoga is more than just bending and stretching, it is a sophisticated tool to build optimal mental health.  It’s certainly beneficial for those young people who are suffering or struggling with anxiety and depression and so on, but it also bolsters resilience and fosters a sense of self-acceptance and efficacy so it can help prevent others from going down the same tracks during challenging times in their lives.

I currently work with Brathay Trust, Sandgate School and various other young people organisations and schools.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

The benefit I get from your classes is the feeling of being a few years younger due to rediscovering the range of movement of my body that had been lost over many years! You provide the appropriate non-competitive environment where I can explore my own capabilities.

Another great class.  I can really feel the strength coming in my postures and I'm finally beginning to understand where my pelvis is - and that was just one on-screen correction from you a couple of weeks ago.  What a difference that makes to my lower back!

Super class again - I found it challenging and this morning my hips and legs are aching, but in a good way. I like being pushed. I also enjoyed the flow, I find that quite meditative and it aids my practice. I like exploring how things feel and considering how I am getting into a particular position, rather than simply doing it from memory because I have done it before.  It really breaks it down but also gives it more meaning.  Thank you
