Yoga Classes

Currently, I am teaching a mixture of online and face-to-face classes for a local fitness studio and delivering a private online Zoom class on

Tuesday mornings

9.30am - 10.45am

I'm also available for small private group sessions

and 1:1's.

Please contact me for more information and/or zoom links

Since I have over 15 years experience of working with young people, I'm also really keen to deliver yoga and mindfulness to teenagers.  Yoga is more than just bending and stretching, it is a sophisticated tool to build optimal mental health.  It’s certainly beneficial for those young people who are suffering or struggling with anxiety and depression and so on, but it also bolsters resilience and fosters a sense of self-acceptance and efficacy so it can help prevent others from going down the same tracks during challenging times in their lives.

Since I LOVE yoga...and I LOVE healthy food, I've teamed up with my lovely friend (who just so happens to be a wonderful cook!) to organise YOGA & LUNCH events.  They'll take place one Saturday each month and are held at:

The Fellside Centre in Kendal, from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Come in for as brew before class starts if you like (including home-made chai tea!), then enjoy 75 minutes of slow flow yoga to free up those joints and energise your morning.  Then we'll eat a delicious and nutritious vegetarian lunch, with home-made cakes, energy balls and lovely drinks.

Saturday JULY 10th

Saturday AUGUST 7th

Saturday SEPTEMBER 18th

Booking is essential, so please get in touch with me to reserve your place.

The benefit I get from your classes is the feeling of being a few years younger due to rediscovering the range of movement of my body that had been lost over many years! You provide the appropriate non-competitive environment where I can explore my own capabilities.

Another great class.  I can really feel the strength coming in my postures and I'm finally beginning to understand where my pelvis is - and that was just one on-screen correction from you a couple of weeks ago.  What a difference that makes to my lower back!

Super class again - I found it challenging and this morning my hips and legs are aching, but in a good way. I like being pushed. I also enjoyed the flow, I find that quite meditative and it aids my practice. I like exploring how things feel and considering how I am getting into a particular position, rather than simply doing it from memory because I have done it before.  It really breaks it down but also gives it more meaning.  Thank you
